To read more easily, your phone can make text bigger, read out loud and show captions. Everything is in the Accessibility menu of your settings.

  • Bigger text: Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size (iPhone), or Settings > Accessibility > Font size (Android). You should see the text grow as you move the slider.

  • Read aloud: Accessibility > Spoken Content (iPhone), or Select to Speak (Android).

  • Captions: Accessibility > Subtitles & Captioning (iPhone), or Live Caption (Android).

If you don’t see it: type « accessibility » in the search box of your settings.

Limitation: some apps keep their own text size. In that case, look for « Text size » in the settings of the app itself.

To picture it: these settings work like reading glasses or captions on television: they adapt to you, without changing the content.
